Mobb Deep – Survival of the Fittest Remix and Black Moon – Buck Em Down Remix are the ones I’d add off the top of my head in terms of the “change the beat” remixes.

Yep can’t really argue with XXL on that one, although I reckon Pete Rock could have had remixes to take out the top 3…. his “Jump Around” & “Hip Hop Hooray” remixes were, IMO, just as dope as “Shut Em Down”… can’t forget the “Can’t Stop The Prophet” remix either… though I’d put that near the tail end of the top ten.
