Detoxing
Detox, the forth-coming album from Dr Dre, is one of the most anticipated releases at the moment. The rumours surrounding the album have ranged from the mind-blowing to the laughable. Depending on who you talk to, the album is being mixed in 5.1 surround sound, there are 12 songs (each one named after a detox step, “Intervention” for example) and the guests include every single artist he’s ever worked with. How ever this album turns out, it’s going to be huge.
Below are two songs that are supposedly Detox throw-aways. It’s almost common knowledge that Dr Dre doesn’t write his own rhymes. These two songs feature Aftermath-affiliated MCs, rapping the verses they have written for Dre so he can learn them.

I reckon the “Say Dre” one is pretty well written. To go that in-depth about someone else – most rappers can’t even rap for self let alone do some 3rd-person fantasy shit.
Heard that Detox will be out by the end of the year.
