contrary to my previous post… I saw some pretty powerful images at the museum at Hiroshima Peace park, that place and experience was pretty intense.

That was a very interesting read/look. I remember a guy giving a speech on these sorta photos in a school assembly once. Apparently that photographer responsible for the pic of the starving kid in front of the vulture committed suicide ‘cos he felt so much guilt for not saving the kid - he just took the photo and bounced. Sad ay. Oh and I was surprised not to see the photo of Tommie Smith and the other black athlete with their fists raised on the podium at the Olympics. That’s some powerful imagery.

yeah the Hiroshima museum is definitly sobering, the video library they have with interviews of all the survivors is amazing
its crazy everyone just walks around that museum and nobody talks…they dont need to

Japan is rad, bought lotsa records and stuff. Missing my weekly(ish) trips to beatmerchants and listening to Trueschool. coming home in january tho!
