So I just got the retail of Talib Kweli’s Ear Drum and before I even listened to it I was already geeked cos of the producers and guest appearances alone. Beats by Kanye, Just Blaze, Madlib, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, Will.I.Am and DJ Khalil, and some serenading from Musiq Soulchild, Raheem Devaughn and Lyfe Jennings meant there’s no way this could be shit. And guess what, it isn’t. In fact this is so good I’ll actually part with $30 for it (or maybe $40 at the rate the dollar is nosediving).
