UK band Bloc Party‘s Auckland show has been moved from the St James to the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, because of fire damage at the St James, they will play August 8 as originally scheduled. All of my favourite live acts have played at the St James so I’m pretty disappointed that it’s gonna be at the upside-down waka now.

There will be an extra 1000 tickets for sale from June 25, it’s pretty cool to like Bloc Party at the moment so no doubt these will be snapped up fast. I was one of those smart chaps that got my ticket the minute they went on sale so I could get a good spot, now I feel like a dick
